How to plan your travel, housing, and arrival for Touro University programs.

Moving to the United States is an exciting step in your journey toward earning your Master of Public Health (MPH) at Touro University and starting work with Grady Health. This guide covers your arrival timeline, housing details, and how you can use Florence Reward Points to help pay for travel.


Arrival Timeline

  • Earliest Arrival Date: September 13, 2025

  • Classes Begin: October 13, 2025

  • Plan to arrive in Atlanta with enough time to get settled, complete orientation, and prepare for classes.


Using Florence Reward Points for Travel

Through the Florence app, you can earn Reward Points for completing key program steps — and use them to pay for your travel to the U.S.

You can earn points by:

  • Uploading your resume

  • Conducting a self-interview

  • Passing the NCLEX

Redeeming Points:

  • Book your travel directly in the Florence app

  • Apply your earned Florence Points toward airfare (Booking.com) and other eligible travel expenses


Your New Home in Atlanta

You’ll be living in an apartment in the Greater Atlanta area, within 30 minutes of Grady Health System:

Housing is arranged to ensure you’re close enough for both your work placement and any in-person academic sessions.


Moving Checklist

  1. Book Your Flight: Use Reward Points or your own payment method.

  2. Secure Your Housing: Florence will assist with apartment arrangements.

  3. Pack Essentials: Include personal items, work attire, and important documents (passport, I-20, visa, medical records).

  4. Plan Your Arrival: Allow time for adjusting to the new time zone and completing onboarding steps before classes begin.
